I went up to the Observatory this past Thursday for an �assignment.� I was asked by a friend to take a picture of the LA skyline. But since the time he asked me there have been fires, and hot days, that have obscured the view. I thought that after the recent rains we had that the sky would be clear enough to make for a good picture. Was I wrong. The marine layer came in and completely blanketed the basin. I didn�t get any good shots of downtown. I did get some of the Observatory itself. I�ll be posting a few for the next few days. This one was taken with my iphone, and edited using the Tilt-shift app.
